Set in La Veleta, one of our favorite Tulum neighborhoods, this tasting offers a warm introduction to mezcal. First, your host shares the spirit’s Mexican roots and production traditions. Then, you learn how to notice aroma, texture, smoke, sweetness, and finish.
Each boutique bottle brings its own place and story to the table. Meanwhile, handmade pottery bowls turn every pour into a beautiful ritual. Small snacks, fresh fruit, and tasting salt complete the experience.
For example, the lineup may feature a selection from Mezonte, a Mexican project that works with traditional agave-spirit producers across the country and gives special support to makers in Jalisco and Michoacán. Its producers carry knowledge passed through generations, while each region may call its spirit mezcal, raicilla, tuxca, bacanora, or another local name. In other words, every glass can connect your group to a person, a place, and a living Mexican tradition.

5 out of 5 stars. Will recommend for future uses. From the beginning Neidy & Crystian were great and communicated & helped every step of the way. All services provided was seamless with no issues. Manuel (Manu) was our driver for 2 of the 5 days we were there and he was the best. Bertos were good as well for the pick up. But hands down Manu was the best.
I worked with Betty and Cristhyan to set up an amazing wedding celebration. We simply could not have done it without the help of Cristhyan. He made our weekend that much more special by going above and beyond. From helping find my flowers to hiring the photographer to working with the Chef to create a perfect menu; working with Go Tulum Travel was seamless. The chef and his team were ultimate professionals (and made delicious food), the bartenders were so fun and everything went smoothly. I can't recommend them enough!
