Three Cenotes, Three Distinct Settings

We designed this experience for guests who want to travel farther than the cenotes immediately around Tulum. Meanwhile, your local host handles the route so you can enjoy each stop without coordinating transportation or tickets.

Stop One

Suytun

First, enter a dramatic underground cavern known for its circular platform and natural beam of light.

Stop Two

X’Canché

Next, swim in an open jungle cenote beside the Ek Balam archaeological area. The tour price does not cover additional adventure activities.

Stop Three

Saamal

Finally, enjoy another refreshing swim surrounded by the natural stone walls and lush setting of Yucatán.

For clarity, we list pickup and return times in Tulum time. Yucatán follows a different local time, so our onsite team manages the schedule for you.

Common Questions

Transportation and Timing

Is transportation included?
Yes. We include private roundtrip transportation from every hotel and villa in Tulum. In most cases, we schedule pickup for approximately 7:00 AM and return around 3:00 PM, based on Tulum time.
Why does the tour begin early?
Starting early helps your group reach the Valladolid region before the busiest visitor periods. In addition, your local team manages the one-hour time difference between Tulum and Yucatán.
Are life jackets required?
Yes. All three cenotes require life jackets for swimming, and we provide them for your visit.

Cenotes, Lunch and Upgrades

What is included at X’Canché?
Your tour includes cenote admission and swimming. However, the tour price does not cover optional activities such as ziplining, rappelling, or bicycle rental.
What is the minimum age?
Children must be at least six years old. In addition, guests should feel comfortable walking on uneven surfaces, using cenote stairs, and entering the water with a life jacket.
What is included with lunch?
The tour includes a traditional Mayan buffet lunch at a restaurant, bottled water, and nonalcoholic beverages. However, please bring any healthy snacks you prefer.
How does the Ek Balam add-on work?
For $35 USD per person, add a guided visit to the Ek Balam archaeological site. This option includes admission and the guide. In addition, it adds approximately one hour to the itinerary.

Payments and Reservations

How does payment work?
You do not need to pay the full tour price upfront. First, Go Tulum Travel collects one deposit payment through Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, or credit card. Then, pay the remaining balance directly to the local tour operator. Finally, our local team confirms the exact deposit, remaining balance, and instructions before you make a payment.

5/5. I contacted Go Tulum Travel days prior to our Tulum Adventure and the owner was prompt in addressing our request. We enjoyed our travel plans which was arranged for us. The travel was perfect with Alfredo, our tour guide. He went above and beyond for us!!! He was very patient and kind, and made a difference to our day and we are very grateful. The tour was beyond what we expected. Thank you!
Shout out to Melizia our guide at Chichen Itza, she was very patient and knowledegable! Both Melizia and Alfredo were great at taking our pics as well. Kudos to you both and to #gotulumtravel for making out trip so worthwhile 😊.

    Mucho Gracias!!!

5 out of 5 stars. Will recommend for future uses. From the beginning Neidy & Crystian were great and communicated & helped every step of the way. All services provided was seamless with no issues. Manuel (Manu) was our driver for 2 of the 5 days we were there and he was the best. Bertos were good as well for the pick up. But hands down Manu was the best.... See MoreSee Less

I worked with Betty and Cristhyan to set up an amazing wedding celebration. We simply could not have done it without the help of Cristhyan. He made our weekend that much more special by going above and beyond. From helping find my flowers to hiring the photographer to working with the Chef to create a perfect menu; working with Go Tulum Travel was seamless. The chef and his team were ultimate professionals (and made delicious food), the bartenders were so fun and everything went smoothly. I can't recommend them enough!... See MoreSee Less
